Course Conditions:  This is a spring Trail Race in Michigan.  There may be some standing water on the course.
The course does drain well but if there is a tremendous amount of rain there may be a couple of short soggy conditions.
If you are running the 5k plus an additional race you may want to consider bringing a second pair of shoes for your second race.
The lowest part of the course is a 10 yard section in the 5k course (after 2 miles) (this section is not used in the other races.

Bag Drop:  There will be an unstaffed Bag Drop Tent  near the Start/Finish Line for the Marathoners & Half-Marathoners.
Half-Marathoners will pass the Bag Drop at 6 miles.  Marathoners will pass at 6, 13, and 19 miles.

Share the Trail:  The park and course are open to the public on race days.  Please be courteous and share the trail with oncoming users.  Stay to the left.
There is a mountain bike trail that runs thru the park (singletrack).  This trail is separate from our route expect for a couple of very short sections (non-singletrack)
where the trails are combined.  These are very short.   Bicyclists are supposed to yield to pedestrians – but be alert.  As always – look both ways at all trail & road crossings
